Fitzroy Revisited.
Fitzroy’s Brunswick Street began it’s rapid rise to iconic subculture status in the late 1970’s and early ’80’s. I recently revisited it with a camera with a view to writing about the street and it’s early history.

The Black Cat cafe on the ground floor of this imposing building became a focal point for artists and musicians in Brunswick Street in the early ’70’s.
I will write something more about it here later. In the meantime, take a peek at the pictures.
